FACI supported a public institution undergoing structural reform in a politically sensitive environment. Leadership was concerned that rapid organisational change was exposing the institution to operational disruption, reputational damage, and loss of staff confidence.
FACI conducted an institutional risk review that went beyond formal risk registers to examine how uncertainty was experienced and managed in practice. Engagements with senior officials revealed that risks were often recognised informally but rarely discussed openly or addressed systematically.
FACI worked with leadership to surface critical risks linked to reform sequencing, stakeholder expectations, and internal capacity. The focus was on strengthening judgement, communication, and institutional resilience rather than imposing rigid controls.
The engagement helped leadership anticipate pressure points, align reform timelines with institutional capacity, and improve internal communication. As a result, the institution navigated reform with fewer disruptions and stronger internal confidence, preserving credibility during a period of change.
