MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Future Africa Concern Institute (FACI)
At Future Africa Concern Institute (FACI), we believe that Africa’s future will be defined not by what others imagine for us, but by what we dare to imagine for ourselves. From our headquarters in Kigali, Rwanda, we are driven by a deep conviction — that Africa’s transformation begins with rethinking the very frameworks through which we understand progress, leadership, and development.
FACI was founded to be more than a consultancy firm. We are a creative hub, a catalyst, and a think-and-do tank that challenges conventional paradigms while opening new horizons for Africa’s future. Our work is grounded in the belief that true and lasting change begins with the *psychological infrastructure of leadership* — the mindsets, values, and visions that drive decision-making across corporate, governmental, and civil society spaces.
We exist to co-create long-term strategies for Africa’s progress while addressing the urgent challenges of today. In an era of rapid transformation, the continent requires solutions that are bold, inclusive, and authentically African. That is why our mission focuses on integrating public policy, local leadership, and capital — foreign, local, and blended — to develop endogenous strategies rooted in African realities.
Our work spans consultancy, research, capacity building, policy advisory, and strategic engagement, enabling institutions, enterprises, and governments to think differently, act decisively, and lead effectively. By fostering cross-pollination of ideas and adopting interdisciplinary and experiential approaches, we help our partners unlock potential, strengthen governance systems, and achieve meaningful, sustainable impact.
At FACI, we envision an Africa that is not merely adapting to global trends but shaping them — an Africa defined by innovation, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership. Together, with our partners and collaborators, we are building a future-ready continent — one that thrives on knowledge, creativity, and a shared sense of destiny.
Let us continue to rethink, reimagine, and reinvent Africa — not as a continent of problems to be solved, but as a cradle of possibilities waiting to be realized.
